Brastan is a company stablished in 1982, focused on products and services
for railroad track maintenance and inspection.
Some of the light maintenance tools we produce are the railroad drill,
sleeper drill and coachscrew machine. These tools are powered by gasoline or
electric motors, being light and reliable while still able to withstand the
harsh environment of rail maintenance.
We also manufacture digital superlevation gauges, a much better alternative
to the traditional cant measuring devices. The digital display instantly
shows the gauge and superelevation, and the hold function allows the data to
be seen after the instrument is moved from track.
Based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the company also represents major players in the
international railroad industry, including RTI from Australia (ultrasonic
track inspection), Andian from Canada (track geometry) and Holland from the
USA (flashbutt welders). For shorter tracks, Brastan can apply these
technologies as a contractor.
Being on track is a routine at Brastan. We believe that the best way to
improve our products is by listening to our customers, and we enjoy doing
that. Brastan engineers and commercial staff are permanently visiting all
the railroads in the country, paying attention to their needs. And our
development team is constantly working to transform those needs into
products and services.
As a strong player on the railroad industry in Brazil, you can visit our
booth at the local railroad trade show, usually held every October, and will
find our adds in the industry's national publications.
While you will not find in our web site details of all our products in
English, do not hesitate to contact us via e-mail. We will be pleased to
take care of your requests. |
